Taught postgraduate coursesWe offer a full range of taught postgraduate courses, including master's degrees, postgraduate diplomas and certificates, and graduate diplomas. Research degreesOxford Brookes has developed significant research strengths across the university. In the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise Brookes achieved world leading research in 15 areas, including 25% of History research and 15% of Computer Science and Informatics, Art and Design, History of Art, Architecture and Design, and Music. The Oxford Brookes Careers Centre provides expert advice for students in their job search, and also runs a programme of careers fairs throughout the year which introduce potential employers.
Modern, well-equipped campusesOxford Brookes has four faculties, comprised of 18 departments benefiting from specialist buildings and purpose-built facilities on three campuses: Headington and Harcourt Hill, each a short distance from the city centre, and Wheatley which is seven miles from the city centre. A major redevelopment project is well under way across the University. New gallery space and architecture workshops opened in 2013, and a new library, teaching facilities, student services and social areas will be brought together under one roof in a building due for completion this year.
A diverse and international universityMore than 4,000 students from around the world choose to study at Oxford Brookes every year and we continue to value the academic and cultural contributions that international students make to the university. Oxford Brookes International offers a comprehensive advice and support service, as well as high calibre English language and academic skills courses, to international applicants. Expert support for international students – from visas and arriving in Oxford through to graduation - is provided by the International Student Advisory Service (ISAS).
