BLACKPOOL AND THE FYLDE COLLEGE

Blackpool and the Fylde College is a government funded public college with a highly successful reputation of nearly one hundred years for delivering high quality education. The college was one of the very first institutions in the United Kingdom to be awarded the Beacon of Excellence and Accreditation status. This means the college has been college has been nationally recognised for the outstanding performance of its students and staff

Blackpool is the largest tourist resort in England with all the leisure and sporting activities a visitor would expect. It also offers theatre and cultural events usually associated with cities. Blackpool is very close to the rural beauty spots of the Lake district, yet is only one hour away from the busy city of Manchester with its international airport. London is a single train journey away of less than three hours.

The College currently has 4000 full time & 12000 part time students studying a range of courses including Intensive English Language, Degree Foundation programmes, vocational training, Diplomas and degree courses. Currently only 2% of students are international, with very few from the Far East. Overseas students usually share accommodation with British students

Fees and Bursaries
Degree and Diploma programmes £6500 per year, Foundation and Vocational courses £4000 per year
Fees may be paid in three instalments (Termly)

A number of bursaries are available for appropriately qualified students. The value of the bursaries are equivalent to 50% of course fees. Each applicant will automatically be considered for the award
