HOW TO BECOME AN ICAEW CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT We welcome university graduates onto the ACA programme. However, your degree does not necessarily need to be in the field of business or finance; it can be a recognised degree in any discipline. Individuals with other professional qualifications or experience (such as ACCA, CIMA, etc) can also study for the ACA. Please note: Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) or Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) members can sit ACA exams and attend ACA classes in the Gulf as independent students.
