The
Centre for Health Planning and Management
(incorporating the Sir David Owen
Population Centre)
With an established reputation
as a centre of excellence for health sector management and
development, the Centre contributes, through active research,
teaching and consultancy, to health policy development, health
sector reform, health services management, and health economics
in
the UK, Europe and internationally. At the forefront of new
management, and with a multidisciplinary staff, the Centre
promotes the development of international health programme/project
managers who are capable, competent and creative problem solvers.
New management skills for
specialist population, RH and development programmes are available
with the recent addition of the Sir David Owen Population
Centre suite of courses and technical experts.
The Centre offers credit
courses leading to postgraduate degrees and diplomas in a
number of areas, as well as a series of short workshops throughout
the year.
