What is Lethbridge Community College?
Established in 1957, Lethbridge Community College is Canada's first public community college. LCC is located in Alberta's third largest city, and has a modern 57-hectare campus resting on one of Southern Alberta's majestic coulees overlooking the Oldman River and Rocky Mountains to the west. Lethbridge has a population of 70,000 and is the service hub of Southern Alberta. Warm westerly winds, called Chinooks, create warm summers and mild winters.

Why Study ESL at LCC?
Our English Language Centre has been offering year-round ESL training for over 35 years. You can study academic ESL for a full or partial semester year-round, and continue in any of over 75 certificate, diploma and university-transfer programs. Fewer than 5% of LCC students are international. Specialized, intensive group packages are also available.

Why Choose Lethbridge Community College?
LCC is first choice of many international students because of its caring and experienced staff. Local host families offer a warm welcome, and College Residence is available during spring and summer. Students enjoy the quiet, peace and safety of a small vibrant city that has everything found in a bigger centre.

Come and join us—stay with a friendly family, and make LCC your home away from home!
