Alumna

Dr. Yingzi Xu, DBA
MSM alumna and
Assistant Professor in Marketing
After obtaining her first university degree in Electronic
Engineering in China, Yingzi Xu left for The Netherlands to
pursue her MBA at Maastricht School of Management.

“I
wanted to learn management systematically and I thought it
would be interesting to share business perspectives with people
from different cultures. I opted for Maastricht School of
Management because of the international character and the
highly qualified faculty. Also, the charm of the historical
city of Maastricht influenced my choice.
|
|
The multicultural
character of Maastricht School of Management impressed me
more than I could imagine beforehand. It enabled me to broaden
my view on different issues and taught me to be open-minded
to cultural differences.
|
| After
having obtained my MBA, I continued with a DBA at Maastricht
School of Management. When I was offered a position as Assistant
Professor in Marketing, I was happy to accept and thus extend
my stay in Beautiful Holland. Thanks to the global alumni network,
I still keep in touch with many of my schoolmates: an added
value both socially and professionally.” |
